The MedTech Week magazine 2019 is out!

The MedTech Week 2019 edition was another great success thanks to the engagement of our members and external stakeholders. The magazine is now out and packed with inspiring articles and perspectives from patients and experts in 16 countries, provided by 48 members and 10 external stakeholders.

Under the EURIPHI project, two relevant meetings took place on 16th October, in Brussels.

The EURIPHI Regions Network brought together more than 20 representatives of different regions (regional) health – care authorities, policymakers, chief financial officers and payers, with an ability to impact decisions interested in further engage in this collaborative and to foster economic sound investment to introduce health and integrated care(transformative) innovation/innovative solution. The meetings started with the presentation of the European Commission, followed by a case study of Catalonia.

Five industry associations representing pharmaceutical, biotech and medical technologies industries operating in Europe (COCIR, EFPIA, MedTech Europe, EuropaBio and Vaccines Europe) have come together to work on a Strategic Agenda for Innovation in Healthcare. This Agenda falls in the framework of the proposed European Health Innovation Public-Private Partnership (PPP) under Horizon Europe. Its objective is to guide future public-private research & innovation that would contribute – alongside other European research funding instruments - to addressing some key European healthcare challenges in an integrated manner.
