IHI call 12 preparation: explore in-kind contributions and contributing partners

The Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) office supports consortia preparing proposals for the call 12 – a single-stage, applicant-driven call – by offering a wide range of practical resources to help them submit strong proposals.

One of these resources is the upcoming webinar on 11 March 2026, titled “Lifting the lid on in-kind contributions”. The session will showcase concrete examples of industry in-kind contributions, explain how they enable projects to achieve results, demonstrate how they incentivise uptake and exploitation, and promote collaboration across partners from the private and public sectors. Industry in-kind contributions come in many forms, including scientific and regulatory expertise, unique data, assets, and compounds, as well as access to advanced research infrastructure and cutting-edge technology. Another valuable source of information for consortia is the IHI webinar held on 11 February: “Everything you need to know about IHI contributing partners”, which provides detailed guidance on the contributing partners scheme. In addition, consortia can also use the material presented during the Info sessions organised by the IHI office on 19 and 20 January 2026 as well as the brokerage platform that will remain open until the call deadline.
