MedTech Europe calls on the EU Competitiveness Council to reaffirm the importance of life sciences in the Competitiveness Compass. As the Compass highlights, investing in life sciences is crucial for boosting competitiveness across sectors, because without health, there can be no wealth. Medical technologies, as a vital component of life sciences, are key to the world-class performance and long-term resilience of European health systems.
