MedTech Europe & IPMPC – Data Protection in Health Research Workshop

On the 27th of November, MedTech Europe and the International Pharmaceutical & Medical Device Privacy Consortium (IPMPC) successfully co-hosted their Data Protection in Health Research Workshop. Over 100 people were in attendance, including DPOs from both the medtech and pharma industries, national Data Protection Authorities (DPAs), the European Commission and the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS). The workshop outlined the issues that the life science industry encounters when applying GDPR in activities ranging from clinical research to post market follow up.
