Policy roundtable on Robotic-Assisted Surgery

Posted on 09.07.2026

What does it take to bring robotic surgery to every patient who needs it?

Funding gaps. Reimbursement barriers. Health systems unprepared to scale. The technology is ready – the policy framework isn’t.

On 7 September 2026, the MedTech Europe Robotic-Assisted Surgery Sector Group, in partnership with the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), is convening a policy roundtable in Brussels to tackle exactly that.

Robotics Unlocking the Future of Healthcare will bring together policymakers, clinicians, health system leaders and industry to move beyond the debate, and into solutions. From funding models to real-world evidence, from reimbursement reform to scalable implementation, we’ll draw on what’s already working in countries like the UK and Denmark.

The event will take place on 7 September 2026, 14:00 – 18:30 at the EESC, Brussels

Registration is open, and seats are limited. Don’t miss out on the event and sign up today.
