An interoperability training with IHE Europe on 27 March 2020 in Brussels

Posted on 06.02.2020

The upcoming EU actions to advance artificial intelligence and the European Health Data Space will increase pressure on all makers of connected medical devices to generate and deliver health data in consistent and interoperable formats. Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) is a crucial driver of open interoperability specifications.

MedTech Europe has teamed up with IHE to organise a half-day training in March 2020 that will feature representatives of IHE and PCHAlliance to introduce participants to the IHE organisation, to explain IHE profiles and specifications, and discuss IHE processes such as profile development, testing and conformity assessment. Intended primarily for product and software developers and engineers, this training is open to anybody. The training will take place on 27 March 2020 in Brussels and is part of the annual IHE Europe Connectathon, Europe’s most notable digital health interoperability testing event. For more information and to register go here.

Cost: free for MedTech Europe members and members of MedTech Europe’s national associations; fee of €95 plus VAT for everybody else (includes lunch and refreshments).

Deadline for registrations is 2 March 2020. For any questions contact Michael Strübin, Director Digital Health, at [email protected].
