Call for expression of interest for expert panels on medical devices and in vitro diagnostic medical devices

The European Commission has published a Call for expression of interest for expert panels on medical devices and in-vitro diagnostic medical devices. This call is based on the Commission Implementing Decision EU 2019/1396, which was published on 10 September 2019.

Experts of the panels will be selected by the Commission on the basis of their skills and expertise in one of the medical fields. The fields of expertise and the setup of expert panels are set out in detail in Article 1 of the Decision 2019/1396. The Implementing decision can be found here.

Experts will be appointed to the panel for a term of three years, with the possibility of renewal.
