European Medtech Week 2018: explore what is happening across Europe!
Posted on 01.06.2018
From 4-8 June, the European MedTech Week will take place for the fourth time.
During this week, from Belgium to Slovenia, from Portugal to Sweden, the European medical technology industry will discuss with different stakeholders, such as governments, patients, doctors, carers and media about today’s and tomorrow’s challenges to keep people healthy and how medtech can help save and transform lives.
There are more than 500,000 medical technologies currently available and they all share a common purpose: improving, extending and transforming people’s lives. The common thread through all applications of medical technology is the beneficial impact on health, quality of life and in society as a whole. Medical technologies contribute to living longer and better, and empower citizens to contribute to society for longer. In so doing, they improve the quality of care and the efficacy, efficiency and sustainability of healthcare systems.
