Interactions with Intermediaries & Distributors: new training video available

To ensure and enhance patient and clinician access to innovative, reliable and effective medical technologies, it is often necessary for medtech companies to engage third parties to assist with marketing, sales and distribution.
To support member companies in training and dealing with SMIs (Sales & Marketing Intermediaries), MedTech Europe has developed specific guidance and tools. Given that SMIs usually operate in international contexts, we work together with other trade associations, such as AdvaMed and ApacMed providing these materials.
The latest training tool that has been developed is a Distributor/ SMIs training video, which can be found on MedTech Europe’s YouTube channel. The idea behind the development of this short video was to serve as an introduction for any members’ distributor compliance training to show that the starting point and the principles are the same for everyone across the world.
