MedTech Europe announces changes in the Board composition

At the last Board meeting on 21 March 2024, Mr. Alexander Socarrás, Chair of MedTech Europe Board, announced he would bid farewell to Siemens Healthineers at the end of March, subsequently stepping down from his position on the Board. Since his election in 2021, Mr. Socarrás has provided exemplary leadership and unwavering support to MedTech Europe, for which the organisation extends heartfelt gratitude.

Furthermore, Ms. Sophie Dutilloy, who served as Treasurer, and Mr. Peter Huntley, a valued Board member, have resigned from their respective roles. Their significant contributions and leadership have been instrumental in advancing the mission of MedTech Europe, and the organisation wishes them continued success in their future endeavours.

MedTech Europe is actively addressing these vacancies by initiating elections to fill the three positions. The newly elected Board members will serve until the conclusion of the current mandate in December 2026.
