MedTech Europe reacts to the war in Ukraine

MedTech Europe stands by the Ukrainian people, who are facing a humanitarian tragedy. The Russian invasion is causing devastation and suffering for millions of people. Our thoughts go to everyone affected by this war.

Our priority as a healthcare industry is to ensure that the people in Ukraine and countries adversely impacted by the conflict have continued access to medical technologies, services and treatment.

We are working with our members to support ongoing efforts to ensure that medical supplies reach those in need. To that end, we are collaborating with the European Commission, national authorities and NGOs to understand evolving needs for medical equipment and respond in a most timely manner.

We call on all parties to support our efforts in ensuring the continuity of healthcare delivery and to facilitate the safe passage of medical technologies and services.
