MedTech Europe supports EPF Virtual Congress 2021

The European Patients’ Forum Annual Congress took place recently (26 – 29 October ). The theme of this year’s Congress, held virtually, was the “Digital transformation of healthcare”.

The participation comprised of prominent patient organisations, EU policymakers, industry representatives as well as the Academia.

MedTech Europe supported the virtual Congress and provided access materials, such as patient blogs (hosted under MedTech Views) on a Virtual Booth.

Our Director General Industrial Policies, Oliver Bisazza delivered a speech during the session on “Safer digital health: how to ensure it at EU level”. He emphasised that Digital Health solutions regulated in Europe as medical technologies are subject to some of the most stringent patient safety standards in the world.
