New in! Draft texts of Innovative Health Initiative Calls 9 and 10 published

The draft texts for the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) Calls 9 and 10 have been published!  

Unlike previous calls for proposal, IHI Call 9 will pilot an applicant driven approach, encouraging applicants to identify untapped opportunities in the IHI Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda, the document which outlines the IHI’s areas of work and guides project topic decisions.  

Call 10 will feature topics on digital labelling for medical technology products, safeguarding innovation in secondary use of health data in the European Health Data Space, and on Per- and Poly-fluoroalkyl substance (PFAS) in the healthcare sector.  

Both calls are scheduled to launch in early 2025. The draft texts are released ahead of the official launch to give applicants the opportunity to assemble a consortium and begin crafting proposals. While topics may undergo slight modifications, they offer a solid glimpse into the confirmed calls.
