The European Strategy for Data and MedTech Europe’s response

Last February the European Commission released its ambitious European data strategy aiming to make the EU a world leader in a data-driven society.  On 28 May MedTech Europe released a statement indicating its support for the strategy and noting its potential to add momentum and resources to the efforts to digitally transform Europe’s health systems and enable secondary use of health data. The statement also includes recommendations on the topics of data access, legal clarity, and interoperability.  It can be found here.
