The Symbols Awareness Campaign goes live!

MedTech Europe is launching a campaign to raise awareness among the IVD community of the symbols introduced by manufacturers to ensure compliance with the In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices Regulation 2017/746 (IVDR) labelling requirements.  

Symbols are a helpful way of providing information on the label in a language-neutral way. They are efficient, cost-saving, and internationally understood tools that convey the required information to a medical device user, thus fostering good practice of the device and patient safety.  

Through this campaign, MedTech Europe intends to provide healthcare professionals with information on the IVDR-compliant symbols they will encounter in their daily work.
