Under the EURIPHI project, two relevant meetings took place on 16th October, in Brussels.

The EURIPHI Regions Network brought together more than 20 representatives of different regions (regional) health – care authorities, policymakers, chief financial officers and payers, with an ability to impact decisions interested in further engage in this collaborative and to foster economic sound investment to introduce health and integrated care(transformative) innovation/innovative solution. The meetings started with the presentation of the European Commission, followed by a case study of Catalonia.

EURIPHI

The Open Market Consultation on Integrated Care, which brought together European procurement organisations and the industry to explore existing or developing integrated solutions, focused on the areas of stroke, dementia, COPD, multimorbidity, aortic stenosis. The OMC revealed whether the areas can be addressed by solutions already available, currently under development or whether a further push from the demand side is needed. The OMC will be followed by learning procurement procedures to test the cross-border procurement of integrated care solutions with defined levels of cooperation and localized decision making.
