MedTech Europe, in collaboration with leading health stakeholders, has released a joint statement emphasising the crucial need to effectively fund health research and innovation in the upcoming European Framework Programme (FP10). The joint statement outlines recommendations on priority areas of focus and advances six recommendations to bolster the effectiveness and impact of the FP10 and strengthen the world-class EU (health) research and innovation (R&I) ecosystem.

The joint statement was developed by the European Association of Research and Technology Organisations (EARTO), along with 110 partner signatories, urging an increase in the future FP10 budget and pan-European collaborative research.
Learn more about MedTech Europe’s contribution to the consultation launched by the European Commission’s expert group on the interim evaluation of Horizon Europe. The consultations will contribute to a report which will be produced by the expert group on how the EU Framework Programme for R&I can continue to add value for the remainder of Horizon Europe and in the future.
