What does MedTech Europe want to achieve?

Medtech Europe’s goals are twofold. On the one hand, we try to promote a balanced policy environment by engaging with EU regulators, politicians and other policy makers to create balanced policies that enable value-based innovation in our industry to meet growing healthcare needs and expectations.

On the other hand, we want to demonstrate the value of medical technology. We believe we can achieve this goal in two ways. Firstly, the joint 5-year strategy, Contract for a Healthy Future is MedTech Europe’s first bold thinking in action. This document stresses the importance of stakeholder collaboration to deliver value-based innovation which helps healthcare systems in becoming more sustainable. Secondly, MedTech Europe will carry out health economic research and organise related activities to discuss the value of medical technology.
