MTE’s Director for Market Access and Economic Policies, Yves Verboven, held the role of trainer. The training was based on the updated version of the MEAT tool and guidelines, enabling participants to explore the VBP background and principles and to experiment with the MEAT tool.
The workshop generated significant interest, all participants committing to engage within their companies and with healthcare stakeholders in the MENA region as MEAT VBP ambassadors. Moreover, one of the leading hospitals in Saudi Arabia is currently considering engaging as a pilot experimenter and assessing the tool.
