MedTech Europe signs joint industry manifesto on competitiveness

In the joint industry manifesto on competitiveness, in alliance with 85 organisations, MedTech Europe calls on policymakers to relaunch Europe’s attractiveness and competitiveness as an industrial location for innovation. As the EU enters a new policy cycle, we jointly recommend reviving the EU Single Market, finding global solutions to global problems and promoting a joined-up strategy to boost value chains’ resilience. The strategy should unlock the full potential of the Single Market and build a regulatory environment for the industry to remain globally competitive, which is crucial to fostering access to innovative medical technologies that meet the needs of patients and health systems.   

A reinforced industrial approach and tailor-made implementation to deliver on the European Green Deal is also centre stage of the first stock take on the Commission’s Clean Transition Dialogues.
