Fernando Morales Olivera

Vice President, Ethics & Compliance, Becton Dickinson

Fernando joined Becton Dickinson (BD) in 2021 and he leads the company´s Ethics & Compliance teams in EMEA and Latin America, as well as its global Third-Party Intermediary compliance program.

Fernando started his professional career at Uria Menendez, a Spanish Law firm with strong presence in Latin America, where he spent more than eight years between the offices in Madrid and in Lima, specializing in Commercial Law and M&A. He left private practice to join Philips where, over a period of eighteen years, he held different positions in several countries in the legal function, including global Head of Legal Compliance.

He holds major degrees in Law and in Economics from Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Spain, and has undertaken General Management postgraduate studies in IESE, Wharton and INSEAD. He is admitted to the Bar of Madrid. He is the Chair of the Code of Conduct Committee of MedTech Europe and Vice-Chair of the Ethics & Compliance Committee. He also previously served as Vice-Chair of the COCIR Code of Conduct Committee.
