Caterina Marcon

Caterina is Officer Legal and Compliance and joined MedTech Europe at the beginning of 2018. As such, she is working on all topics in the Legal & Compliance team, with a focus on Data Protection. She also provides legal support to the organization, in particular, to the Market Data department in its market data survey activities. In addition, she is responsible to update certain publications, such as the Compliance Handbook on National Healthcare Compliance Requirements.

The Legal & Compliance team’s goal is to provide a clear framework assessing the appropriateness and legality of any and all matters affecting both the association as well as the medical technology industry more broadly.

Caterina holds a Master of Laws in Italian law (Magister Juris) from the University of Innsbruck. She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and a Certified Privacy Manager (CIPM).

Caterina is an Italian national, fluent in English and German, and with a basic understanding of French.
