Joerg Kruetten

Joerg Kruetten is a member of the executive committee of Simon-Kucher & Partners and heads the company´s global medical technology competence center. He is specialized in strategic corporate development, licensing & acquisitions, marketing, and pricing.
Within multinational assignments he has supported several leading medtech companies in improving their business performance. Joerg was previously a shareholder in a medical device start-up company specialized in R&D and OEM manufacturing. Prior to joining Simon-Kucher & Partners in 1997, he worked as a consultant with Anderson Consulting (now Accenture).
Joerg has published several articles on current management topics. He is an external lecturer at the University of Basel and the European School of Business in Tuttlingen as well as a speaker at international conferences. He studied mechanical engineering and business administration at the Technical Universities of Munich and Karlsruhe, specializing in corporate development.
