Omar is Managing Partner of Simon-Kucher’s Danish operations in Copenhagen and a member of the Global Medical Technology and Consumer Health Practice within Simon-Kucher’s Life Sciences activities.
Omar received his MSc in Management and a CEMS Master’s in International Management from the London School of Economics and St. Gallen, where he specialised in corporate strategy and finance. During his studies, he gained experience in the financial sector, having worked for Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.
After completing his studies, Omar worked as a management consultant at Quartz Strategy Consultants (now Qvartz) and Lufthansa Consulting after which he was the managing director of a Danish/Russian IT start-up. Since joining Simon-Kucher, Omar has worked in all commercial aspects of front-end optimisation within marketing, sales and pricing.
He has successfully managed and implemented global commercial excellence programs for a number of multinational Life Science companies in the USA, Argentina, Canada, China, Brazil, Japan, the EU5 and Scandinavia.
His experience covers a broad range of Life Science sectors including medical supplies and equipment manufacturers, OEM suppliers, Life Science service providers and Consumer Health companies.
