Samih Al Mawass

Samih Al Mawass is the Divisional Vice President, Abbott Vascular for Europe, Middle East and Africa.    

Samih embarked on his professional journey with Abbott at the end of 2007, becoming a part of the Sales and Marketing team. Since then, he has held various commercial leadership roles with increasing responsibilities.   

Over his 25-year career to date, Samih has had the privilege of overseeing various markets in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Japan. Prior to his current role, he was the Divisional Vice President of Abbott Vascular Japan where he also served as a board member of the American Medical Devices and Diagnostics Manufacturers’ Association. 

Samih holds a MBA from IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland and started his career in different Sales and Marketing roles with Procter & Gamble and Nestle.  

Samih has a strong passion for serving healthcare professionals and patients to ensure they have better access to innovation that improves patients’ outcomes and quality of life.
